William has been part of the RSDS since 2016 and has loved growing alongside the studio ever since. He has experience across a wide range of dance styles, but finds the most joy in contemporary, acro, and of course… tap! Throughout his dance journey, he has participated in numerous competitions as a solo, duo, and group performer.
If there’s one thing he brings to his classes, it’s a love for unique rhythms and personal style.
Outside of dance, he’s a huge music lover in every sense, not just dancing but playing music as well!! He’s previously been part of bands and has performed as a rhythm guitarist on multiple occasions. He also loves collecting records, discovering new artists, and constantly broadening his musical horizons.
William is passionate about choreographing pieces that are fun, challenging, and help students further develop their musicality.
His experiences span many styles, including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, acro, and tap. Alongside competing, he has completed the Comdance tap exam syllabus, which has strengthened his technical foundation and deepened his understanding of tap. This knowledge allows him to create strong, engaging choreography for his students.
He has trained consistently since the age of seven under a variety of teachers and mentors, and he continues to expand his knowledge by attending workshops with different choreographers. He loves learning from others and bringing fresh ideas and inspiration back into the classroom.
