Acro Dance blends dance technique with flexibility, strength and acrobatic skills. Classes focus on proper technique, safe progressions, and body control, helping dancers develop core strength, balance, and coordination.

Our studio offers specialised equipment, including a full-length mat, an air track, wedges, and rollers to support skill development and safe training. Acro is ideal for students who enjoy physical challenge, as it improves flexibility and develops control while learning impressive, technically sound skills.

About this Class

Open Acrobatics encompasses advanced acro dance elements, including strength, flexibility, balance, limbering, tumbling, and partner work.

High proficiency in gymnastics, dance, and acrobatics is required.

  • Students should have no less than 4 years of gymnastics, dance and/or acrobatics training
  • Classical and Jazz Classes would complement this style.
  • Suitable clothing includes a Studio leotard, shorts or leggings and footless tights. Hair must be tied up and off the face and neck, and be secured, and dancers practice in bare feet. Boys wear tracksuit pants and a well-fitted T-shirt or sleeveless top.
