Musical Theatre combines dance, singing and acting, giving students the chance to develop all aspects of performance. Classes focus on building technique in movement, voice and character, helping students refine their skills and stage presence. Through engaging routines and exercises, dancers learn how to express emotion and tell a story through performance.
At the end of the year, students showcase their learning in a piece that combines singing and acting with their dance, highlighting the skills they’ve developed throughout the year.
An introduction to the world of musicals and the 3 skills of singing, acting and dance. Students explore a musical and learn a dialogue, a song, and a dance that go with it.
