Aaliyah’s love for dance began as a tiny tot in the cot listening to Black Betty having a little rock! From then on, her mum knew that she had a passion for performing. Her journey at RSDS began in 2011, and she has since delved into every style possible! Tap, ballet, Jazz, contemporary, hip hop, acrobatics and her personal favourite, musical theatre!
She aspires not only to share her knowledge with others but also to inspire younger generations to continue expressing themselves through movement and music. Aaliyah’s classes are filled with giggles, creativity and most importantly, dedication. Because if there is one thing she loves more than performing, it’s seeing her students have fun on stage whilst creating core memories they will never forget.
Just remember… be the unicorn in a field of horses!
One of Aaliyah’s proudest achievements is completing her tap, jazz, and musical theatre exams to the highest level. She is also currently completing her major ballet exams as part of her hope to complete all her teacher exams.
